Wilson Named Statesperson of the Year Finalist

Senator Lynda Wilson has been named a Statesperson of the Year Finalist by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.  Wilson was notified by email from the Chamber that she had been nominated as Statesperson of the year and is now one of three finalists.  This is the second year in a row that Senator Wilson has been named a finalist for the award.

I am again honored to be named, along with two other qualified nominees, a Statesperson of the year finalist by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce . It is rewarding to have my efforts to balance community, business, and constituent goals and needs in the legislature recognized.” Wilson said in reaction.

According to the Chamber’s website, “The future of the regional business community is closely linked to these focus areas. Through its broad membership base, reflecting Greater Vancouver’s diverse business and civic community, the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce advocates sound, sensible, and dynamic policies that ensure a vital economic climate while improving Vancouver’s infrastructure and quality of life.”
