The Washington Council of Police & Sheriffs have Endorsed Senator Lynda Wilson’s bid for reelection in the 17th Legislative District. “I am pleased to inform you that the Washington Council of Police & Sheriffs has chosen to endorse you in your legislative race. WACOPS is the oldest and largest organization in Washington advocating on behalf of rank and file peace officers throughout the state.”, said Teresa Taylor , Executive Director of WACOPS in a letter to Wilson.
“In these trying times it’s important to support those who guard us while we sleep. I’ve always had great respect for our law enforcement officers. They risk their lives every time they walk out the door to go do their jobs. I value their endorsement and look forward to working with them to continue to help build good relations within our community”, said Senator Wilson.”
