AWB Gives Early Endorsement to Lynda Wilson!

June 16, 2016,  The Board of Directors of the Association of Washington Businesses (AWB) voted unanimously to endorse Lynda WILSON for Washington State Senator, 17th District.

“Having worked alongside Rep. Lynda Wilson over the past two years, she has shown a willingness to help build broad coalitions to help find solutions to the issues that impact employers statewide,” said AWB President Kris Johnson.

AWB

Formed in 1904, the Association of Washington Business is Washington’s oldest and largest statewide business association, and includes nearly 8,000 members representing 700,000 employees. AWB serves as both the state’s chamber of commerce and the manufacturing and technology association. While its membership includes major employers like Boeing, Microsoft and Weyerhaeuser, 92 percent of AWB members employ fewer than 100 people. More than half of AWB’s members employ fewer than 10.

“I am very proud to have the support of AWB and its many members.  Major employers and small business are the real job creators and economic engine in our state.  As an owner of a small business and an employer, it’s an honor to be recognized by my peers.”  Wilson said.
